....saving Upstate animals since 1999
Critter Connection is a local non-profit 501(c)3 animal rescue group dedicated to saving homeless, neglected, abused and abandoned animals in the Upstate area based in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
Members foster our animals in their homes, allowing us to be able to inform our potential adopters of each animals unique personality and behavior in a home environment (instead of a shelter atmosphere).
Critter Connection operates solely on our fundraising efforts, adoption fees and donations. Our animals are fully vetted before adoption (spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, micro-chipped, heart worm preventative, etc...)
I CAN’T ADOPT
BUT I WANT TO HELP
WHAT CAN I DO?
Foster homes are needed - Fostering an animal until it is rehomed is a rewarding experience.
You can donate supplies like paper towels, disinfectant spray, dog and cat food, treats and any unused dog equipment like crates, beds (in good shape) or leashes.
Financial support - We are not subsidized by any governmental agency. We pay for medical treatment of our adoptable animals. Our local vets are very supportive, but we do not get free treatment.
Patronize Petco who sponsors our adoption days and supports our fundraising efforts.
If you shop on Amazon, you can set up a Smile account for Carolina Critter Care. Portions of the cost of qualified items are sent to the group.
You can help with our fundraising activities. Subscribe to this website for updates on events.

Feral Cat Colonies
We manage several feral cat colonies by feeding, trapping, spay or neutering them and returning them to the colony so the cat population is mostly controlled. Bags of cat food and shelters are needed.
Donation are always welcome and assistance in keeping feeding station stocked is of great importance. If you have a few hours a week please volunteer. The colonies are widespread.
